Shopping

All shops in Slovenia are closed on Sundays.

You might find it convenient to shop for essential groceries on your way to the apartment. The big shopping Centres are in Kranj or Lesce, but you can find most things you need in Bled.

From Ljubljana or the Airport

using the Autoroute/Highway:

Take Exit 9 for Kranj, after passing the Services. Turn left at the first junction and follow the main road towards Kranj, which is visible across the fields.

On the right, just after the 1st traffic roundabout, there is a large Mercator Shopping Centre. (Closes at 19.00)

Alternatively, go LEFT at this roundabout. On the right is a Cinema Complex and TUS supermarket. Continue as far again and there is the QLANDIA shopping centre with an INTERSPAR supermarket on the right.

From Autoroute/Highway

Exit 3 (Lesce/Bled):

A Lidl supermarket is visible as you leave the Highway. Turn left at the first traffic roundabout. Hofer and EuroSpin are also here. (Close at 20.00)

As you approach Bled:

Just before the first filling station on the left, turn RIGHT. A Mercator shopping centre is on the left.

(This is a good shop. You can find most things you need here.)

In Ribno:

As you drive through the village there is a large building on the left (Community House). There is a small shop in this building, to the left. (Open 07.00 to 17.00, 07.00 to 12.00 on Saturdays.)
